How to stream to our TV
Watch or listen to what you like. Step by step manual.
1. Connect your device to our Wi-Fi
Make sure your device (smartphone, tablet or laptop/macbook) is connected to our Wi-Fi network. Name and password can be found in your room.
2. Turn on your TV
Use your red remote to turn on the TV. Should no wallpapers pop up - make sure the input is set to HDMI1
3. Open an supported app
More than 1000 apps on iPhone and Android currently support casting including Netflix, Spotify and more.
4. Start watching or listening
Start a video on YouTube or start listening to a song on Spotify.
5. Click the cast icon
Look out for the cast icon and click it. Then select your TV. Or select a speaker device in Spotify and select your TV.
P.S. The TV's name can be seen in the top right hand corner of your TV, when turned on.

1. If you haven't already, simply download and install Google Chrome Webbrowser (available for Windows/Mac)
2. Open Google Chrome and select in the menu bar: View > Cast... > Click your TV's name > Select Desktop as source.
FAQ/ Trouble shooting
We put together some frequently asked questions by out guests and provide some help in case you face issues while streaming.
I didn't bring my smartphone
A smartphone is not necessarily required. You may also use a tablet or your laptop/ macbook.
Do you provide streaming accounts?
No, we do not provide any paid streaming accounts like Netflix. Guests are required to use their own accounts.
P.S. most paid services offer a free one month trial that you could use during your stay.
Is your internet uncapped?
Yes, we offer a 40Mbit/s uncapped fiber internet connection that allows you to stream as much as you want.
What if my streaming app doesn't work in South Africa?
Some streaming apps require you to be within a specific geographical region. E.g. an app like Zattoo allows you to watch german TV channels. However you must stay within Europe/ Germany to be able to watch those channel. To overcome this issue you can simple download a VPN app from your app store and select your home country.
